A belated happy anniversary!

It's been a year since my stem cell transplant and I'm in remission!!!  I put together this little video to express my thoughts.  It's not the best quality and I seem a bit too serious and the lighting is pretty bad.  My son the film student will be upset that I did this on my iPad without him.  Sorry, Joseph!!!!  I should have asked for help!

  1. Happy 1st Birthday Susan!! Today Linda and I celebrated my 2nd birthday as my Stem Cell was August 25th, 2010. I can tell you that my second year was better than my first and I am excited about my upcoming third. May your second year be sweet and may you continue to enjoy those "new" activities (like hiking in the Acadia National Park). We are planning a trip to the North East next summer and Acadia sounds wonderful. Thank you for posting/sharing this sweet video.

    1. Hi EZ! Happy 2nd Birthday to you!! I have so enjoyed following your blog. It's given me so much insight to myeloma - and to living. There is always so much hope and happiness in Linda's writing and she focuses on the everyday things that happen. It's hard to focus on illness when there is so much life all around! Thank you for sharing your family - and your faith. My faith is stronger because of it.

Perhaps our paths will cross when you head up north next summer!

  5. Tears of joy. I'm so happy you could mark your one year anniversary doing what you so love (hiking!) with those you love. Perfect! May it continue with a healthy and happy year two and beyond.
